Lead / Tin Refining Kettle (Pot)

Metalcess Intelligent offers metallurgical pots for the fire-refining and melting of non-ferrous metals, including Lead, Tin, and etc. The pot normally is a integrated assembly includes: cover, stove, pot body, agitating system, combustion burner & control valve train & control cabinet, and refractory brick. The pot body is a consumable. The pot capacity can be 3 tons to 150 tons.

Detailed Description

Lead and Tin pot is one of the most important equipment for fire-refining process of Lead and Tin to produce high purity Lead ingot and Tin ingot. 

For combustion system of Lead pot, the key is to provide a stable and constant temperature. There is mechnical adjusting type burner and also electric adjusting type burner. 

For Lead refining and melting pots, normally it is made of carbon steel Q245R. 

For Tin refining kettles, it can be made of carbon steel Q245 or stailess steel, S.S. 321, S,S, 316L, 304. For Tin refining pots, there should have water jacket on the wall to control the temperature and help remove Iron and As impurities from the crude Tin. The Fe in Tin ingot can be ≤0.003%.
